I know this does not pertain to what this thread is meant for and about but any ideas why I am getting such terrible mileage?

I am getting about 9.5 around town, and thats with a easy foot... I have checked my plenum, and that seems fine. I am going to go ahead and do a full tune up: cap, rotor, plugs and wires and see if that helps. I am also using about 3/4 a quart of oil about every 1500 miles, but the trucks doesnt leak or smoke... And it runs like a champ...

You know what that means. You need to replace the plenum.
