I had the F1 Airgap on my 5.9 last year and I really liked it. Easy to install and the Kit from Hughes is pretty much complete. As far as the M1 to F1 Airgap the Airgap kit comes complete where as the M1 does not.(unless something has changed that I am unaware of) You will have to buy everything else you need, which will end up about the same price as the Airgap. So save yourself some time and just get the F1 Airgap. Call the guys at Hughes they are pretty knowledgable and will help you with which ever intake you decide on. As for performance I do not know if there is really a difference. I think it just depends on who you ask and what they are running. Do some good research before you buy and be happy with your decision. One more thing remember that whichever one you choose someone is going to tell you it was the wrong one!
PS Nim81, I just couldn't stay away!!! I miss my 5.9 almost everyday!!!

azskater--- why are you replacing your y pipe? to remove it your have to cut it off at the cat-converter and unbolt it from the exhaust manifolds. youll need to spray the bolts down real good with pb blaster or something like a day before you remove it.
pdavis- i knew you would miss it!
