question for all my lowered brother's in rams, when i had mine dropped using a 4/6 kit, the tire shop mounted i think 275/45r20's on my 20" liquid metals...me not knowing anything basically bought lowering trucks and tire sizes trusted them to look out for me and install a set that i would not have any clearance issues with..well too make a long story short, they apparently didnt care and wont fix the issue of tire rubbing on my fenders up front(because i drove it off their lot)..i have not drove the truck since i found out about my clearance issues up front and what im asking is to run a 20/9 rim like i am with my drop what size tires did you have to go to avoid having the front of your truck crash down on your tires when ever you hit a bump, mines so bad spec since my suspension has settled i think it's actually sitting lower than it was,and i hate not driving my truck..so anyone have any experience with this sort of problem,,
thank you in advance

Deeznutts,
I might be missing something here but you are posting in the 3rd Gen Section. My 3G is running the drop you are and stock 20"x9" rims with 285/50-20 tires. I modified my bump stops to get max travel and not rub on full compression. The other issue that sometimes cause rub is your camber adjustment. I had slight tire rub before getting everything aligned correctly. Good luck....

hmm..my apologies,,i just thought this was a lowered class club for our trucks year non-specific.when i drove my truck off the mechanics and tire shop's parking lot it didnt bottom out(tire-wise) untill 55-60 mph on the highway, and i drove it straight to the the alignment shop, and they aligned it perfectly, now i can just drive down my driveway(which is on a down-hill slope and it hits and i cant get above 15-20 mph on the road without my tires up front hitting the fenders...i dont know what if anything was done to my bump stops as i had a (friend) that owns a shop there at the tire place do my drop for me,as he's done quite a few of them/as well as raising or lift kits,so im sure he knew what he was doing...im going to try and get out and take some pics and you guys can see what kind of clearance i have up front.as im hoping a smaller tire will correct this..

this is just a club area where we accept all lowered rides and even if you were to post in the 3rd gen lowered teck section, you should be answered as there really isnt a lowered section anywhere else....
