i just beat mine with a hammer and checked for any spacing haha. is that boot on the steering linkage on the pass side wet?

The passenger side looks the same to me. Will one of you other Dak owners please peak under and look if your truck makes contact at the same spot? It looks like it was made that way but maybe I am missing something. Thanks for the pic pizzo.

Yes that boot on the drivers side does look wet, but it had been raining. The boot is dry now and looks the same as the others. Can I check the boot for lubrication? I couldn't find any rips or tears in it..

Where did you strike with the hammer? From the bottom of the A-arm or what?

I'd like to just replace the shocks and the front end links, but if that didn't fix the problem the wife would be a little upset with me.

its probably balljoints. theres a chance its a hub bearing but you would get notice play when you checked the wheel,

my frontend looks quite a bit different than yours...

What do i hammer on or turn with a pipe to diagnose the ball joint?

i guess where #'s 5 and 8 attach to #2 on the tops of the joints.

As you guys can see, I do a lot of PS3 stuff, if anyone wants a Fantasy graphic of thier truck let me know and give me a pic .... I'll surprise ya with somethin ....

First one is not bad, the second is blurred. The better and larger the pic the better the outcome, I saved the largest pic and I'll do up a graphic for ya. Once done I'll post it up and if any of the other guys want one in this club I'll hook you guys up.
