SMKN, I forgot to tell ya after I filled up the other day but my mileage was average (11.8mpg) on the first tank of gas with the airgap and that's driving like I have some sense.
If my mileage doesn't improve then it is at least good to know that I don't have that stupid plenum gasket to worry about any more along with a little more umph (oomph?, how would you spell that anyway?) in the upper rpms.

Do you have headers to compliment that intake? I bet headers would really make it breathe!!!

 

Yep, headers, a 13.75x2" air cleaner (14x3 won't fit with the airgap) a magnaflow cat and a glass pack so it has no trouble breathing.

 

well.. ill tell ya what. i stepped out for a while.. and this place really did die down. we need a good GTG.. we need some people to at least get along on here.. i keep putting this out, im going muddin in havelock.. starting about 5ish.. a bunch of people going.. should be a great time.. my goal is to get stuck as hell with the big truck. get with me if anyone wants to go..8457750531..
