All cold air intakes are helper mods. You may notice somewhere between 5-7 hp but they really shine when you add a free flowing muffler, programmer and things like a cam and larger tb. But that is nice work.

 

I don't think you get any more air with a two filter setup, you are still going into the same diameter TB, but my guess is you'll see longer life out of the filters and longer intervals between needing to clean them, as each one is probably taking in proportionately less air than a single filter.

But added benefit or not, it still looks cool...

thanks. i did it moslty for looks and a bit so i know its getting all the air it can. and i wanted to be differnet from all the other home made CAIs

So how hard is it to put in a new cam? I havent ever done it or really seen it done but I am a quick learner and just wanted to know how it is and what all goes into it
