love the 4.56 i went up from 3.92 so i went big and never looking back....mpgs stayed the same if not increased a lil i also did a efan swap around the same time so i noticed quite a bump in take off and a lil mpg but i drive a truck and the only thing i gage my mpgs on are the overhead which usually lies....never have i actually calculated my mpgs....i fig i want a faster than normal 4.7 so i gotta sacrifice something im sure....

 

Ha true that! yea from the looks of it the gears and efan seem to make the biggest difference performance wise. I'm really thinkin bout the fastman throttle body too. Then maybe headers. But it's all gonna take awhile of course. Plus I really don't want to waste any money on mods that won't do much. So any input is greatly appreciated!

 

polished and ported tb on and running great was def worth what i paid for it 40 bucks shipped...off the classyfieds here on df....

he got rid of it cheap cause he had a fastman and his truck wouldnt take to it, he also had the fastman on here for sale not as cheap cause it was brand new...

 

Don't forget the throttle body spacer guys, like 25hp there

 

come on matt you know i know better than that....thats nothing but a glorified paper weight...besides i dont even think i have seen em for our 4.7l's....

and the pic online showed huge tata's and a nice **** too....but your boy got a fat girl instead....

 

Not many mods to mine but here is they are in the order they were installed:
- Air Raid intake and filter
- Replaced factory "Y" pipe with custom piping into an 2in-1out Magnaflow muffler
- Ram Air hood (more for looks than performance)
- 2inch drop shackles


These mods I would like to eventually get to do:
- headers
- Superchips
- e-fan
- 2008 intake manifold
