I may be interested in getting rid of my 410's and going sown to the 355's. I dont tow anything and it runs 2500 rpm going 70 on the freeway.

I would be interested in your 4.10's if you do that.

ship them in a box. UPS ground shipping maxes out at 150lbs. I don't know how much it would weigh, but if it's under $150, it's not too bad to ship.

Yeppers, a good sturdy box and a little bubble wrap will see them safely here.

I guess the part I was missing is that i dont want to take out my gears. I would only know how to unbolt the axle. I guess just shippiing the gears would be cheaper. LOL I am in Tx right now and if I could get a cost number from my mech maybe do this in the next few weeks???

Be prepared, it's going to be pricey.

And Hydrashocker - what brand are those rocker guards? I'm looking to get some for my truck and am leaning towards a set from Willmore.
They are stock rocker guards.

Well I went to the 4:10's from 3.55's and love the change. My truck sits perfect when towing my 9k travel trailer. I was cruzing at about 70mph in overdrive no problem. However I have a dead spot in that 55-70 mph range and I haven't figured out why yet. I've talked to other V-10 guys and they have said the same, as well as hill pulling. Seems like I hit the hill at 75mph and lock it up I do pretty good, but that slow *** gets in front of me and I loose momentum she doesn't wanna get going again?

Does the SCT Tuner change speedo for large tires?

No it doesn't. The Superchips and Hypertech do.

Edit: Come to think of it, do the Superchips or Hypertech programmers even support the V10?

Stock? I've never seen a stock Ram come with stainless (or chrome) rocker guards. And just to be sure we're talking about the same thing, I'm not talking about the nerf bars. I'm talking about the thin panels that are covering the lower part of your doors and bed sides.

I've hit a 'wall' at these speeds as well, but I've only noticed it on steep grades pulling over 10K pounds, and for me it's not specific to my V10. Other trucks I've owned over the years were the same way. If the grade is steep enough and I have to slow down, even maintaining the slowed speed can be a challenge. Of course, this is most prevalent with sleeper trailers. When I'm towing something that doesn't poke up above the cab of the truck (like a flatbed/car hauler), I can tow much more weight without the effect we're talking about.

Of course we may not be talking about the same thing?

We tried to do it, but didn't have any luck. For that you can head over to a Dodge dealer and they'll flash your PCM for your new tire size (and it won't affect your tune).
