Default OK guys I think I screwed something up?

I changed the air filter & spark plugs on my 1995 Neon. Now it won't start. It tries to start but won't. Sounds like the timing is off. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott

Well if thats all you did I would say you switched a wire or 2 on the wire swap. If it was running before you xcrewed with it, and now it isn't, you screwed it up. Those are words to live by.

well your timing wouldnt magically just change by swapping plugs and air filter. its been a few days since this post so you most likely have it fixed by now but if not double check all your plug gaps, if 2 or more are closed, due to the box being dropped or something its not going to start. also double check your firing order, make sure you didnt cross your wires when you had them off.

ORIGINAL: Silver Eagle

check your coil wire.

im pretty sure if its a 2.0 neon there is no coil wire, as its simply a coilpack and there are just 4 plug wires, someone correct me if im wrong.

Yeah I think it's a coilpack too. Check the firing order bet there are a couple wires wrong.

Could be non OEM plugs and the computer isn't recognizing them. Try using OEM plugs.

Sounds like the coil pack to me. I've torn alot of 2.0's down and I've always run in to that problem.

The neon does have a coil pack, thats not the problem. Take a 4cyl motor and swap 2 plug wires, its gonna run like ****. Thats all he did.
