I've got a 01 Ram. I've put a throttle body spacer, apc air intake, electric fan, jet chip, 8 mm taylor spark plug wires (which weren't the exact lengths as the stock wires) ceramic plated gibson headers, High-flo Magnaflo cat, and dual fowmasters . Ok, all that being said, My truck idles sporadically from around 600 to 1200 rpms and when I drive I can feel it rev up. It seems to do it more when i have cruise controll on. When i first recognized the problem i took the chip out... It still did it but not as much. I'm lost. I dont know what to do. I dont get any trouble codes either with or without the chip.

 

Takeoff the TBI spacer and see what happens....

 

Throw the JET chip away...they don't work

Also, take the TB spacer off (as mentioned) and use it as a paper weight. They don't work AT ALL on multi-port injected motors

If that doesn't fix your problem, post again.

 

found a loose connection on the wiring harness for my iac... do you think that could be the problem. Cant take off TB yet. I lost the original bolts. I took out the jet chip and it was still doing it but not as bad. I found the problem with the IAC and started it back up with no problems. Because it was doing it worse with the jet chip in i put it back in and havent had any problems yet. Do the Jet chips really suck that bad? I havent really seen that many bad reveiws for them.
