Default oil changes

when my dad has the oil changed on the truck he brings it to a garage that changes oil but they also grease stuff under the truck what do they grease and what do they use thanx

They lube the grease fittings with a "grease gun". Most modern cars have factory sealed fittings that don't require lube.....

Alot of times too they will lube/spray the bushing on the sway bars and control arms along with the body isolators.

They may also be lubing the universal joints on the driveshaft.

Yeah that's it! I couldn't get the words outta my head to say it.. I knew they lubed the grease fittings...I should remember because I change my own oil...I love the feeling of oil running down my arm..especially when it's room tempurature[sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]

It feels real good when you drain the oil immediately after an hour or two on the road.

When I change it, it's usally slightly warm..seems to drain out quicker and better I thought..but I must say it does feel good running down my arm [sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]

Yeah, you want it warm, it gets more of the the old/bad oil out, along with the dirt/shavings....
