2003 Black Dodge Neon SXT
It's all stock but being my DD I spend alot of time with this car.
When I decided to get rid of my first Neon (02 base model), I found this one at a lot. It blew fuses like nobodys business and had a thing for leaving people stranded on the side of the road (according to the salesman, it would die for "no reason" every month or two). It was a 16yr old girls first car...and she beat it all to hell. There is at least 1 dent in every panel and scratches all over the paint. I'm pretty sure she decided to use it to go 4-wheelerin around on a golf course or something.
I traded my first Neon plus a lil cash for this mostly non-running Neon. After some basic maintenance work to include fixing the leaking sunroof, and fixing a short the car has been super reliable.
If I didnt have my Celica that i'm working on, I'd plan to do some modifications to my Neon. But the cash flow for a college student is limited, so one car at a time. If the engine ever blows though, i'd love to convert it over to electric

I plan to try to restore my Celica back to at least the days of it's former glory. Paint will go back to black with all the tiger decals. At some point I may do an engine swap but right now i'm just trying to make it safe and reliable. It's all very slow going with the budget i'm on. *shrug*
I dont think I want to get rid of my Celica just yet although I wouldnt mind as much trading the Neon for a newer Celica

Yeah, my Celica isnt just any old GT, it's a Tiger Edition. Back in the day there was one main guy importing the Celica's on the east coast. To help them sell better he added the Tiger Decals, supposedly different wheels and a different exhaust as seen in the pictures (there is pinstriping as well). It makes them a little bit more rare than your average GT. Actually, I think most of the 1st gen Celica's that are left in good shape are towards the west coast.
It has a 20R engine. The only thing I've done to upgrade the engine (and not just fix) is the 32/36 Weber Carburetor. So most everything is stock on it. Since it's part of the Celica history, I really want to try to restore it back to how it was.
