Whats up....take a look at your plug wires, if the number four wire has a 90 degree elbow at the coil, it's already updated.

If all the wires at the coil have a straight boot, you need wires.

TECH BULLITTEN: 18-012-04, Check it out.

By the way, the sound from the tranny is normal "gear rattle". Don't worry, it's a tough gear box.

Yeah I had a buck in first gear sometimes second. The TSB describes it as "driving over broomsticks" Interesting analogy, but still nonetheless....#4 plug wire was white and on its way out at 4499miles on my 04. If your four plug wires look the same, the 4th one's bad. The 4th one should look like it doesn't belong. But I had the wire replaced and that fixed it temporarily, and did have a new wire coming in, but got into an accident with the car Tuesday....so i dont think that matters now.

A little better, but it worsened injuries from before. I had that last thread deleted because Riz, WMD, Explosive, SRT4Driver, and Screwdriver were all making it into a bash Crystalmarie party.

The insurance company gave it 25 points, a borderline total. My best friend came by who has done and still does body work and said it was fixable, but with a car with only 4678 miles on it...they may just total it

All I care about is the car.... Oh well....I'll get an 05 if its gone

Thanks for wondering

SORRY FOR THE HIJACKED POST GUYS!

Heck, my #4 plug wire was history after 1100 miles.....put on a set of MSDs for better looks and longer life, not to mention more juice....

I had the dealer change the plug wires with the 4th being a 90 degree boot. It solved my problem for about 1 and 1/2 weeks. After that it went downhill quick, I was waiting b/c i thought it may have to do with the gas maybe some water was in my tank but that wasn't the case. 2 days ago I started my car to warm it up and get the frost off the windsheild, I came out and go in and the check engine light was on. I called the dealer made an appointment and as i am typing this it is being work on right now. I am going to be calling them in about a half hour to check on it. I will keep you updated.

sorry about your injuries and your car SexySRTChick

Thank you hunn. If the the fourth spark plug looks like every other one, its not right. It should look like it doesn't belong.. lemme see if I have a picture for you.

Okay the first picture is of mine right before I got it replaced at 4495 miles. Kinda hard to see but you get the point.

They shouldn't all look like mine. I'll look for another one....see if i can find it.
