Hey guys im just wondering ( Dont get mad at me im an SRT fan )..how do you figure a stock SRT will beat a GTO...it is 350 HP

 

If you go to modernperformance.com and read their article on SRT-4 upgrades, you'll notice they put the HP of a 2004 SRT-4 at 250-255, way above the factory listing of 230. That's with no mods added. Add a Stage 1 or 2, a custom exhaust, and a high flow air filter or CAI and you're talking about at least another 10-15 ponies for as little as $700.

Dodge trucks with HEMIs also have high HP figures, but an SRT-4 will easily outrun them. HP numbers are great for selling vehicles, but the real number to be concerned about is the power to weight ratio. That's how a 95 HP motorcycle can beat a 350 HP car or truck...
