Default SRT-4 Advice for Newbie

I have been reading this site for a couple of weeks and like what i see so far and I am currently saving up for a SRT-4 and had a couple questions for the veteran users.
1. Are there going to be any differences, besides color, for the 05' models?
2. I'm going to want to upgrade soon after purchase, is stage 2 the best bet?
3. Should i stick with Mopar parts or are there other worthy companies?

Thanks,

and sorry if this is repetitive.

Thank You (I think!) LoNeWuLf,
The extra cost color option is the only thing I've gotten from reliable sources.

Before adding a bunch of mods, be sure to break in your engine properly. You also might want to touch base with your dealer and see what their policy on mods and your warranty is. Some dealers are better than others on this, and you can have problems with a new car, just ask me! If I tell you to get Stage 2, and later on you get beat by a guy with Stage 3, will you send me hate mail????

Mopar parts, as a rule are best for the SRT-4. The performance parts carry no warranty, but I haven't heard of any problems with any of them. A lot of the other brands require extra parts/mods to make the part fit.....example BOV.....

Now that wasn't tooooo long......[sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]

Well i live in MA so i'm not sure if the stage 3 is street legal, not that i care, but it would be nice if i could actually get an inspection done on the car so i could drive it around.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Stage 1 isn't street legal and Stage 2 isn't either. My dealer happily offered to put Stage 1 on though.......go figure.

you have to sign a waiver?

I signed something saying I knew I was getting the percent tint I was when I got it.

So they werent liable.

No waiver, no anything. I didn't even buy the part from them and they were still willing to install it, no questions asked. For $111.00. I did it in about 45 minutes (I'm 53, remember) ......If I ever get Stage 2 or 3, that WILL be a dealer install......
