Default Need some opinions...

Hey guys and gals I am new to the site and have some questions on srt-4s! I have been driving around un airconditioned muscle cars for a while, and here in the desert we get 100+ temps so I have been looking into a new mopar with a/c and some performance. How comfortable is the interior in an str-4? I am 6'1 220 lbs. so I will need some room LOL,also what is the performance/m.p.gs on a '04 srt-4 with a auto. tranny? So basically I am asking you to school me on the srt-4. I will be going to test drive one in a week or two and just would like some tips on what to expect. Thanks, and expect frequent questioning from me!

Well first of all, I could be incorrect but I do not believe they produce an automatic SRT-4, I believe they all come standard. Room, if your a big guy, the seats may not be the greatest for you, I'm 6'1" 165 lbs and I am fine.. but you weight about55 more lbs than I so, so I'm not sure how well they would suit you, I would suggests just going to the dealer and sitting in one. As for the MPG's I'm not the guy to ask, I have a very heavy foot, but I only have to fill her up every week and a half, so I guess thats not too bad.

You mean there is no automatic SRT4. Because as far as I know you can only get manual on them.

As has been said, the SRT-4 does not have an auto option, it only comes with a 5-spd. manual trans. You should fit perfectly as I am 6'1" but I weigh in at 265 currently and it's a little snug, but not too tight. I need to get down to your weight which is where I was a few years ago, then I would be a perfect fit for it. If you find the Viper style seats to be too tight and restrictive you can get the optional side impact air bags which gives you the regular Neon seats. Try it out for size, you will love it.

Will the 05s have the auto option? I dosnt really matter to me since I race with manual and auto I just was looking for something a little more care free.I also have always had my auto cars faster than my manual cars,so I usually assoiate performance with auto! I will go and test drive one friday and will let you guys/gals know what I think!
thanks for the info
