13 wks.= Stage II
Finally got the stage 2 yesterday. As if 13 weeks weren't bad enough, I had to wait another week because it was lost in shipping. Very Frustrating! Anyway, so far I've only had time to install the wastegate acutuater. Just this alone tells me how weak that stock unit is. The boost comes on faster and smoother and holds much better. Even my BOV sounds stronger to me. I swear the car feels faster now. I highly recommend dumping the old wastegate.
If I had known it would take so long I could have saved up the 5 or 600 more dollars for the toys. I don't have access to race gas around here anyway unless I drive an hour to the strip which is once maybe twice a year. It will still be pretty quick for a daily driver.
Depends how you see it. Though you cant get 100 OCTANE, you still have the choice if one day you come across a fuel station. 2nd you have the other "toys" to use... its all up to the individual...[8D]
i wasnt aware up needed the 100 octane gas to take advantage of the toys

if you don't have access to race gas, just get some torco. great stuff, and it's not that expensive. a can goes for about $12, a case $60. one can will put a full tank of 93 over 100 octane. half a can for half a tank, etc. i've used it, and it does work. this is a good option for people who don't have pumps.
stage 2 w/toys does put out more hp than stage 1, but more importantly is the power curve. it's a much more aggressive and smother curve, and the power is available for longer. the toys are good because of the dial-a-boost and race gas. you cannot utlize race gas without toys, the w/o toys ecu does not have the programing to recognize race gas. this is a major advantage of the toys version.
i took me 18 weeks to get mine, so you got lucky
