When i first got my car, i'd of NEVER even thought of trying to WOT shift this thing, it just seemed too fragile to attempt such lunacy....................BUT then came the stage 1, & in the instruction's , it tell's you how to WOT shift to improve times(?),.soo i tryed-it, & once i got the hang of it...DAMM, .it's almost as good as SEX!..........the trick in it , stem's from being able to go from gear to gear w/out shocking the drivetrain excessivly..........& they way i do it is , to make sure the the tires are spinnin good BEFORE, bangin 2nd.,........that way they just keep spinnin through 2nd.............RUBBER ,SMILE's & dropped jaws EVERYWHERE!!!__________5TOEZ_________

 

thats great and all, but spinning the tires does not give you a good 1/4 mile. Very fun though.

 

LOL good one casper! Yeah aren't WOT shifts supposed to be better for 1/4mile and racing times? not burnout times?

 

Ok you all are talking about speed shifting (what I call it) you never let off the gas just slam the gears by nudging the clutch in enought to shift??

if so that is how I shift when I race! Normal dring shift reguraly but when racing or getting on it that is what I do all the time.

The trick is to sit in the drive way figure out how far the you need to push the clutch in to shift, after you get that start to practice.

Its natural to me! No one ever showed me I tryed to show my friends how but they could never get it right grind the crap out of a gear or miss.

I dont know how to explain it other then that you have to lear to figure your car out and lear to listen. I never even look at the gagues I listen to the engine. My friend Kevin he kept asking me what I shift at in the car and what PSi I am running at diffrent RPS "I told him youknow me I dont look I listen" shook his head

 

Yup thats what we be babbling about WOT (Wide Open Throttle) or "Speed Shifting"

its easy when you take off never never let of the gas! just push the clutchin shift and while ****ing quickly let of the clutch all should happen in about 1 second or less perfer less!!

 

Well i can't practice cause I don't have my car, and the last thing I need is my clutch ****ting the bed. [:@] So I'll wait for the pro to teach me
