Is this car sopost to shake??
On the shaking motor:
Get some MSD or comparable wires. When I put them in the vibration pretty much dissapeared. This has worked for a few of my friends who have done it as well.

Would you believe an 8.71 (if I recall) for a highly modded SRT-4 @ about 170 mph? It's on Google.....

BTW the engine of the race srt-4 looks like a mess! lol! but if its fast who cares right?
Hey Black04, Sport Compact mag had an issue last summer where the had an 03 stage 2 car on the dyno. They LOST power taking the cat out and replacing it with the 3" down pipe. Don't go too crazy in the exhaust department. A nice cat back system should be sufficient, unless your going to install a bigger turbo.
And yes, mine has a slight shake at idle. I put the street inserts in my mounts, and it actually feels a little smoother. Then again, the motor is good and broken in now also, so maby that has something to do with it.
Enjoy your car, be safe.

On the exhaust, I am putting a bigger turbo on figureing out now and looking to see what to go with and ECT... Going to be test and play build on see if it helped or made it worse how to run it I was thinking about running it out the side by the back tire?? so dont know yet?
No yelling at computers...thats not nice. Play nice 04.
I think the side exit exhaust looks silly. Its not a Shelby Cobra its an SRT-4... And I can't see the point to them either...they just don't look right. Thats IMO, so if you like them thats cool, but I'll never have one on my car, I'll upgrade my exhaust with a catback.

All sport cars either sport compacts or sports aka viper vette ferrari etc shake...its a toss up between light weight and stiff suspensions = skakes, bounces, rattles...so does that take the fun out of a almost 1g turn? nope. i can live with it.
The biggest problem with the srt-4 is traction...not fuel sytems, exhaust or turbos its traction. I'm amazed at how many peoples first mod is lowering springs which offsets the cars ratio. Dropping the rear a half inch...13mm is egual to removing 50 pounds..not much you say? thats 25 pounds per side and this is off the wheels that move the car, so they spin more hook less. The aero crowd comes back with, well it was air tunnel tested and at speed such and such it produces umteen pounds of down pressure, etc. Not any more it dosent, you just completly throwed all of the factory desighned aerodynamics in the trash can, which by the way totaled more tresting time then anything else. This was used along with a weight ratio of 60/40 to provide the max down force for the best handling at any speeds above 30mph. The 60/40 is whats important for take off...like it says 60 percent of the cars weight is on the front wheels..which helps in the traction department..the down side is that only 40 percent is on the rear wheels..this is where the problem with most of the cars handling comes from as the lighter rear end tends to drift and slide easly in turns...the hand basket spoiler fixed the drifting at speed...why everyone hates it is beyond anyone.
Most side exit exhaust sytems are illegal in all 50 states..in texas the law plainly states that the exhaust must exit at least 18 inches from the passenger compartment..this stems from the old side pipes..if you measure the exhaust exit on a new viper you will see its 20 inches or so from the passenger compartment. The rear door is not the end of the passenger compartment, also with noise pollution testing equipment in every big city the chances are high of getting a ticket in the mail when you rattle one of there testing stations hitting 60mph in 5.4 with your side exhaust blarring out 129dba...
