I have a little ? Is this car shake? Not a steady shake! the rmp's dont move but the motor shakes and wobbels the car?? I have 600 miles on it and seems to me like its got a cam in it (loopes) weird?? Is this right?I took it to the dealer they said its going to do that? Just want to make sure the car is allready falling a part

 

do you mean does it vibrate some at idle? then yes, it does that.

 

Yeah they kinda shake.....but get motor mounts if its gonna bother you that much. Or inserts.

 

Ok makes me fill better. I love this bought it on Sat. now I have to start with the parts!!!

mounts and inserts will actually make the vibration worse. the stock mounts allow for movement in the engine, but solid mounts don't. they will increase the amount of vibration, which is the major complaint that everyone has with them. it's especially noticable when you run the a/c.

the car just vibrates, there's not much that can be done about it.

 

What part of "SPORT" compact does everyone miss?...even a million dollar Vector shakes and rattles.....

 

I can handle the vibration I just wanted to make sure the thing was going to break!! I plan on shooting for the hi 10 in the 1/4 hope more my friend is a DMS freak!!!!!!!!!!!

Built a 97 Honda back in the day 98 not to long ago but been a while then bought a TransAm WAY to fast street tires 3rd would get side ways But any way cant wait for this baby to hook and go.

 

10's? good luck. in a year and a half it hasn't been done yet, and unless you completly turn it into a race car it's not going to happen. people have a hard enough time getting into the 11's with this thing, 10's it just not a realistic goal for a daily driven srt. not trying to burst your bubble here, but you need to be realistic about what this car is capable of, and at this point, 10s is not a realistic goal. maybe in a year or two when the right combinations and parts have started to appear to get you there it is, but for now its just not going to happen. it would also take a damn lot of money between buil, a lot more than the average person is going to put into their cars.

and don't listen to andy, he claims to have a 9s srt, but it's bs....
