Default Gas Mileage?!

This has probably been asked a hundred times, but I seek help anyway. My mileage sucks. It burns like a lambo...

The book registers 19 city and 28 highway with an average of 22 mpg. NO WAY! Does anyone else have input in to this matter? Agreee/disagree? Suggestions?

Does a grounding wire kit help with gas mileage on the srt-4

Thanks
Silver 04 SRT-4

though it all depends on driving conditions, habits, fuel, humidity, temperature, road condition, gravitational pull of the moon, what color shirt you are wearing, and whether or not you are using a Mac or a PC to read this...

an average of ~21 MPG doesn't seem too far off... I've heard (take this with a grain of salt) people averaging higher numbers like 25-30... I personally have bested 25 once... all highway... driving like a grandmother... 19-21 is pretty average for me... but again, there are so many factors to consider before determining gas mileage......

My driving is about 95% city...... on the stock turbo I was getting about 17-20mpg, now I'm getting 20-23.

Most of my driving is city/metro driving and sitting at a lot of red lights......I feel lucky to get 17-18 mpg. On rare trips on the open road it jumps up to 23-24 mpg.

I drive 14 miles each way to and from work every day, no highway but also not stop and go city, and I get 26mpg. I used to get about 22 before fitting S2. I do not drive like i'm 90 but I also do not drive flat out all the time either.

i find it very hard to believe that your gas mileage wen UP with s2. that kit runs so pig rich it kills gas mileage, not helps it.

WELL, WHAT ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF FUEL YOU GUYS CAN DROP IN YOUR TANK. FOR ALL THE METRIC USERS, I GET ONLY 32 LITRES IN A TANK FROM EMPTY. THE MOST IVE EVER FILLED UP WAS 35 LITRES. DIVIDE BY 4 FOR YOU IMPERIAL FOLK.

IS THIS NORMAL?

why are you shouting? and why should all of us divide by 4 to figure out your mileage... feel free to convert to our system

didn't we just answer all but one of your questions (the ground question)?
