When I hit wot my boost needle bounces around alot.........does this indicate i have a boost leak???
Occasionaly it holds....but most the time its fluttering around way too much and too hard to read... any help would be appreciated..

 

Sounds like you got a broken gauge really..... could be a boost leak....... does the car act abnormal or sounds abnormal when this is happening ?

 

do you still have the mopar bov????
if you do that could be why....

 

he has an HKS BOV read mods list, its most likely the ****ty boost gauge that comes with the car

 

Thanks for the replies.....the boost gauge is the one you can buy at autozone and goes to 30 psi.....i think the brand is autometer....seems like if i ease into wot slowly (instead of stomping on the gas) the needle is okay....but if i downshift into second and stomp on it it flutters alot.....only does it at high boost....if i turn the boost down it doesnt flutter so i think the gauge is okay....

i was just wondering if i had a boost leak...i hope not....

In your other post it shows your boosting 26 psi on the stock turbo ...... this is your problem!

 

no i dont boost at 26.....i mightve done it one time after we hooked up the boost controller.....the stage 2 was boostn at that when i beat him.....my needle flutterswith my boost set to19 and 20 psi

 

could be yourmotor mount inserts.my guage startedto dothe same thing after i put in my solid mounts.
