Uh...yes they do. A ricer told me that. If I remember the stats correctly, its 2hp for every sticker, 20hp for every foot high your spoiler is, and 100hp if your exhaust sounds like my ***. Neon lights definetely add power too, although I forgot the exact amount. This guy had like 100 stickers, so if my calculations are correct, his civic should be running in the low 20's in the QM, which is damn fast. VTEC BITCH!

A few mini vans tried to race me. Was doing 40-45, went into 3rd and killed one. Another one, Ford raced me from an almost stop...yeah...he was a little ahead of me (a few car lengths when he nailed it). By the end of second I was a good 2 car lengths ahead. He had this puzzled look on his face like what kind of Neon is that. Other than that no major races.

 

I was driving to the NAIAS on Sunday. Going down I96 about 80 mph and I see this '86 Grand National comming up behind me. I see the a-pillar full of guages, the very nice loud exhaust and the turbo was sounding loud even before we got on it. So from 80 to about 120 he pulled on me, enough that there was about a car length between us after we let up near 120 mph. I only used 4th gear, because I figured I didn't need to down shift to keep up or beat him. WRONG. That old turbo v6 was tired because I could see plenty (a lot) of blue smoke out the tailpipes, with a wiff of race gas. So after getting beat, I pull up along side and want to try again, this time I was going to use the top of 3rd from 80 mph and then shift into 4th. But he didn't wan't to go again. I think he lost too much oil the first time. Oh well, one loss for me.

Then on the way home from the Detroit auto show I line up with a stock SRT-4 from a stop light. We shoot the breez a minute and when the light turns green we nail it. We were even in 1st gear. I got a fender on him in 2nd gear. Then came 3rd gear, I just started yankin' on him like no tomorrow. Very cool the differecne between a stock car and one with stage 2. Sure made up for getting beat by that GN earlier that day.

 

Just toasted an Audi A4 1.8T a half hour or so ago. He rolls up to me and Im doing about 70, pacing me, and kinda spurting at me...Im like ehhhh whatever. I hear him downshift and take off....damn that was slow. So he slows down and hops back in front of me on 295 (3 lane highway). So Im pissed because hes been pacing me for the fast 3 or 4 miles. I pull up to the side of him and he takes off...well as much of a take-off as that could be. I drop down into 4th gear at about 70....by 100/110mph I had him by 5-6 cars. I slow down and he goes flying by me all pissed off.
