There is gonna be a difference between a CAI and a short ram. The CAI is gonna be a little better, not much but a little. The bottom line is the colder the air going into the turbo, the colder the air going into the intercooler, the colder the air going into the intake, even if its only a degree or 2. If you want really cool air get an interchiller, you will notice a big difference there.

post you have got to check out the throttle response of the manifold combined with the throttle body it is amazing now that i have it i can't imagine how i drove with out it.

Is there any power diffrence between those and the stock air box w/ hole into the fender. I thought alot of people noticed no difference on the dynos between the three? Then again this is the interweb.

The K & N Typhoon CAI shows a 12.5 horsepower gain while Grassroots Motorsports magazine gained 2 WHP and 7 WTQ from swaping the stock air filter out for a Mopar Performance air filter.

sound is one reason but to me it improved my top end a bit.

For me it was just for performance, the added sound was just a bonus that came with it.
