how did GSR beat SRT-4?
i can beat those stock on 91 octane and have multiple times. ive beaten 2 350z and one was a nismo version at the same time. ive beaten evos at the track and murdered at s2000 on the street and on the freeway. what do you drive? must be something slow because you sure are bitter. [sm=boohoo.gif] i cant belive theres no srt-4 in SC
what are you talking about? civics are the fastest car ever built. its probly a dx (damn xtreme) ive never seen a faster comuter car in my life they push like 95whp and sound like a big block with APC parts. those Hype-R's are the death machines. even vipers cant macth honda power. there engines are even named after the alphabet! WOW!!!
This time, my comments are the bold, italic ones in the quote.
Now you are taking all of this way too seriously. I have no problem with you neonster. You are obviously an auto enthusiast, and we have that in common. This is an automotive forum, and sometimes opinions on automotive performance differ. I can live with that, and don't take any of this stuff personally. There is a lot you can learn in here, and I learn something new everyday, but you have to A)Have a sense of humor, B)the ability to interpret what is correct and what is not.
We are all friends, here. Try to relax, I wasn't attacking you, just defending my stance, as you should/would, too. I do this humorously, at times, because it is a better way to get the point across.
The way you post, you should go visit war stories at the other forum(or have been there a lot already), you can vent there all you want. Just be prepared for a much bigger flaming/ownage than you received from me(none, really), those guys can be real tough. And if you didn't know about it, then you should because it seems like you enjoy talking about 1/4 miles and street racing and it's there for that purpose. There is also a street/strip section here that you might check out.
I would suggest you go test drive an srt-4, you will change your tone. This car really is the fastest car available, by a longshot, under $22,000. If you haven't driven one, you will be very surprised. You might just end up owning one. I did that, as a die-hard import fan, and ended up driving out with my first american car(and have never regreted it).
Now, I am curious, what do you drive. You have posted in the past ?'s about your 2001 sohc neon, but now I hear Civic. Are you modded; what do you have done, if so.
And, please, remember, we are all friends, here.[sm=itsok.gif]

First of all i never said the GSR was faster than srt-4's. I said we raced and beat this one and asked how this could have happened. So quit feeding me all the motor trend magazine reports, i know a srt-4 is a lot faster. As for the low 13's in stock srt-4 even mid 13's, please post a pic of your time slip and your car at the drag strip so you can prove it was there.
^^^I didn't say I had a timeslip to post, but I'll be sure to pm you once I have run my car this spring when I do. I'm more of a fan of auto-x and road courses. But, I am sure with my current setup I will be in the low 13's; maybe 12's. Feel free to open my profile if you are curious what my srt-4 has going. If I go to VIR this year, I'll let you know(since it is on the scca SC chapter's schedule), I'll be glad to show you my car. Plus - if you look no further than the page you are reading - there is a pic of my car on the left, and me in it on victory lane at the glen below the post.
As for you posthondaremoval, obviously we dont get along, i tried to be nice and not reply to the post where you bolded alot of my stuff cause i thought i got a little out of hand in my first post, but i just read your last two and obviosly you want to argue. Not particularly. So here is what i think. You actually drive an sxt and think its an srt-4 you call it that to everyone on here its prolly automatic and you have never seen a drag strip. If you did take to a drag strip you prolly couldnt break 14.3 in it(considering it is an srt-4). POST YOUR TIME SLIP.
Anyone who lives near COLUMBIA SC with a srt-4 let me know cause i want to see you beat an s2000, 350z, or definetely a Zonda if i could find one. Im seriously asking cause i really would like to see if this is true. I was serious about the 350 and s2000, but, come on - You think I actually believe a stock srt-4 could beat a Zonda?(that one was for the sarcasm, friend)(P.S. if you know someone with a Zonda go for a ride - it is a-freakin'-mazing)

I am neonster's friend who drives an rx-8. My girlfriend is looking into getting an srt-4. I was curious if anyone has had any experience with the rx-8 and how does these two compare. The srt-4 should blow the doors off of a stock rx-8 and I was just hoping that it would. I love the rx-8 but I would like to have something faster also. If you have had any experience with the two post your comments b/c I have not test drove the srt-4 yet.
im at Travis AFB in fairfield. as far as times go i havent ran it yet with all my mods. the best i hit on 91 was 13.8 with turbo back on street tires at Sac when it was like 90 degrees out side last year. and the track was not very well preped. and it was my forst time at the track in that car. but those are just excuses.
