RE: boosting in neutral...help....trouble...aaaahhhh
all that the gauge is showing is that the turbo is spooling, not that you're actually making boost. i can get my boost gauge up to like 15psi in neutral, but that doesn't mean that the turbo is actually pushing that. you can not physically make boost unless the engine/turbo is under load, which it's not in neutral.

on my current set up i'm not sure, i have not been to the dyno yet. on my previous one (s2), i showed max boost of 19psi@5600rpms. however, if you look at the dyno you can see that i basically ran out of turbo right around there as well. part of it is the stage ecu's that pull insane timing on the dyno....

It sounds to me like you need to readjust your wastegate. This will bring your boost back down below 20 psi where it needs to be. Mine will register boost if I rev it up in neutral as well, the harder you rev it the more it will show. If you rev it fairly lightly it should only go up to zero, but if your revving it hard it's going to go above zero.

hey psi what all did you have to do to get it to pull 19 psi on stage 2 setup and how far does it hold peak boost in the power band. thanx fo your time and is it safe.
