Default Spark Plugs

Just curious to know what people preferred to use in their SRT's for spark plugs. If you could mention why you picked the spark plug you did, it would be helpful

Just for the record, the SRT-4 comes factory with Champions.

i'm using the denso ITV22's. the champions died on me at about 2500 miles. i used the ngk's for about a year and were happy with them, except for the fact that i went through at least 4 or 5 sets in the span of that one year. i'm hoping the denso's will last me longer than the other two.

I've been using the NGK Iridium IX's, and I am very pleased with them. I've found that they've improved both the mileage and response of my SRT as well as burn alot cleaner than the stock Champion plugs. I chose to go with them since Mopar recommends an NGK plug set for use with the stage 3 turbo upgrade (still waiting for the stage three though lol).

Dartman,

When you jump to the stage 3 kit, also switch your plug's heat range to a 6 vs. the 5's that are recommended for stock use. (Assuming you are still using NGK's).

I am using ngk v-power's now. They were an improvement over the stock champions for sure. After about 8000 miles, they are pretty beat. I am about to switch to the denso's as I hear they work as well as the ngk's and last a lot longer.

I have always and will always use Champions, I've never had any problems with them. I have tried almost every brand made and noticed very little difference between any of them, so I'll stick with what I know and trust.
