Blocking one side of stock exhaust?????
Ok, so I was at the parts store ordering my CAI, and the guy said that if I block off on of the sides of my dual exhaust I will "gain 30 horsepower." He said that he saw a guy at the track that had done it and shaved off like.2 sec of his quater mile. Is it me, or does does this sound totally ridiculous? Tell me what you guys think.

Thats what I thought, I just smiled and shooked my head, I cant see Dodge making the car with dual exhaust only to hurt itself by 30 hp. I think they would be after saying there car had 250-260 hp and has single exhaust as apposed to 220-230 hp with duals.

Never say never until you verify it yourself. It does not seem likely to me.

Maybe if you cut off one of the pipes, and replace the rest with a 3" pipe from the turbo back. Then you would get 30 hp.
He probably saw someone with a single outlet 3" turboback.
