Well this kinda answers my snow tire question. I was wondering if there would be any clearance issues with a 15 inch rim cause thats what I was gonna use for my snow tires. Any way, Cool Shoes! Of course ya know, 2 tenths down low = about 4 tenths up top aaaaannnnd now we'll see what the SRT front end is really made of!
Btw, do you run any kind of strut in the rear to stop spring compression at the strip?

Sweeeeeeeeeeet, PSI Chick. I wish I had a set of those (not to mention the other tracklites you have). 
I bet they weigh like nothing. Definitely gonna' be lurking to see what kind of results you have at the strip with those.

how do the 15s with the 26 inch hoosier compare in size to your other rims that you ran with? i run 26x11.5x15 on the mirada...those seem a bit tall for a FWD car...i thought that 205x40x17 was the factory size, which would only be 23.45 inchs in diameter, so the much taller tire would decrease your gearing

Pressurecooker - i have fully adjustable coilovers. this allows me to raise the front to get the tires under there, and completly stiffen the rear up so that there's no compression. you can run a 15" rim as long as it has a +35mm offset.
posthondaremoval - the rims weigh about 10lbs.
BadStratRT - stock tires are a 205/50R17, so the gearing isn't that far off that it really effects things too much. these are a tall tire, but it's needed to take full advantage of them. these are quite a bit taller than my dr's were (225/50R15).

hmm...i know that by adding an inch or more in diameter to the mirada tires, it really hurts my 60s...with the 26s in can pull 1.67-1.71, and i trap around 104-105, but with the 27.5 inch QTPs my 60 was into the 1.80s with more top end speed. good luck though...keep us posted!
