The stock "blow off valve" Isnt even a blow off valve, since it doesnt vent air to atmosphere. Its a "surge valve". The Mopar BOV Conversion plate goes between the stock turbo housing and the stock surge valve plate.
Check this out for complete installation instructions:

The Surge Valve is directly to left and below the air intake tube (be it stock or aftermarket), and slightly below and to the right of the stock wastegate. Check the picture I attached, thats the plate installed on my car.

Many pple here will tell you that it'll create leaks over time. That rather save ya pennies and get a real BOV.
I have a mopar Bov adn im been having a litle boost issues. And yes, i checked for leaks + i had leak solution.
So i oredered a BOV

I made my own gasket, much thicker than the one that comes with the Mopar BOV, and I also sealed it with Permatex Hylomar HPF (on both sides accidentally, but it all worked out). Theres absolutely NO leaks whatsover, and with the HPF and thicker gasket I get an entirely different sound than the other people around here with Mopar BOVS, its a bit deeper, not pitched quite as high. I like it.....to each his own.
You buy the roll of gasket material that they sell at any autoparts store, and cut it to fit the area with an exacto knife. Theres three seperate thicknesses. I got the higher one so that I'd avoid a leak. And then sealed it immensely with the hylomar. And Im STILL boosting strong....5 months later.
