Stock coil and wires. Problem is that for every person that has issues with given solution (Magnecors with stock coil, MSD coil with stock wires, all MSD, all stock), there's another person who loves it[:@] There does not yet seem to be a "silver bullet" for this. It seemed better with the .42 gap I put on last night. I might go as low as .40. If it needs lower than that, I'm going official with the dealer.

71, as far as the part numbers, try

modernperformance.com

manciniracing.com

forwardmotion.com

fwdperformance.com

in any particular order. I have no relationship besides having used Cindy at fwd perfromance for some of my GLHS's needs.

I know all those vendors actually own their own SRT-4s. I aplolgize if this violates any vendor rules, but I see no SRT-4 specific vendors here.

The MSD wires Modern Performance shows on it's web site will fit the SRT-4. They also have plugs as well, a set of 4 were $9.99, I think. The MSDs have "right angle boots" to keep the wires away from the turbo. The more expensive wires they carry have straight boots. Go figure...[sm=smiley4.gif]

i'm not ashamed to say i went with the wrinkle red powder coated valve cover over my stock. in makes the engine all the more handsome. and it doesn't collect dirt as easily, and when dirty it doesn't look bad either! but i promise this is my only non-performance enhancing part! .....but those satin alumium srt-4 pedals........ look so.........cool........okay, maybe one more "blingy" item........than that will be it! i promise!![8D]

Thanks glhs837, but they do not list the actual part #'s they just say that they do or do not have them. I'm looking for the actual MSD part #'s to see if the ones I had on my R/T will swap over to my SRT-4.

OK, Mancini does list the actual part #'s, but they only list the plug wires and they are indeed an exact match. [sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley17.gif]Now I need to find out if the coil is the same, but no one even lists the coil #'s.[sm=smiley21.gif][sm=smiley13.gif]

I see a need for a ceramic coated exhaust, more than intake.

Thanks for the link glhs837.[sm=smiley20.gif] Some coils can't handle that kind of heat and the stock coil does put out plenty of energy, but I already have the MSD coil, it was on my '99 R/T. It is indeed as I thought, the exact same. The MSD coil is the exact same specs as the stock coil, but since I already have it I might as well put it on. Besides, it pretty and it does have superior windings and quality.[sm=smiley4.gif]

If your worried about underhood temperatures then get your turbo wrapped. Design Engineering Inc. has heat wraps for anything and everything, heres a link to their turbo wrap:http://www.designengineering.com/turbo_kit.html
