Stage 1 installed today!
It only took 3 day's to get here,I put it in myself, which was very easy, then took it for a spin........I can definitly feel the difference, in the seat of my pant's,on the boost gauge(saw 15 lbs.) & in the sound the engine makes now...........the instruction's made me laugh, there's one paragraph that goe's like this.........& i quote; "Keep the pedal to the metal, blip the clutch,& grab the next gear. Do it fast enough before redline, & your reward will be a zero lag, constsnt boost shift!"...........holy promotion of abuse! , doe's anybody out here do this on a regular basis w/thier SRT?.............im afarid i'd tear the axles out er somethin______5______oh yea, got the yellow "mail-in" card for the emblem too..........Hmmmmmmm....where to put it??...............one other thing worth mentioning, the odometer did NOT read the mileage i gave him when ordering the box......instead it remembered the miles from before the swap...........soo WHY do they ask for your mileage when ordering?.........i wonder?
I've done full throttle shifts(yes, I mean leaving it to the floor the whole time) before in my Shelby Z and you wanna talk 0 turbo lag and an EXTREMELY huge smile on your face.[sm=smiley4.gif][sm=smiley17.gif]It felt amazing, the response and plant you in your seat power was GREAT! If you have any problems during the shift, like grabbing before going into gear and you have let off the clutch, kiss your synchros and mabe a gear or two goodbye.[sm=smiley35.gif][sm=smiley19.gif]Be very careful when trying such a thing.[sm=smiley24.gif]
Thanks, I haven't been to bed yet. I went to a friends apartment to record a Kylie Minogue concert from his Tivo, then installed the PS2 HDD I bought earlier yesterday. I also finally got my personalized plates today and had to put them on.[sm=smiley4.gif]
Oh well, I just got them because I wanted them, but luckily enough there's not too many cars out there that can beat an SRT-4. And when stage 2 with toys becomes available, there will be even fewer.[sm=smiley15.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

I don't know about that, the street racers run at night usually between 11PM and 6AM. Fortunately with mine being black they will probably just see a Neon with a big spoiler and have no clue what the SRT-4 means, sleeper.[sm=smiley4.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]I know all their hot spots where they gather and where they run, but thats not for me. The only time I do anything like that is when someone is wanting to play from light to light. The organized street racing thing isn't for me, thats what gets people killed.[sm=smiley11.gif]
