You cannot achieve peace without wars, they are a necessary evil. And I will fight to the death for my homeland and my family.[sm=smiley20.gif]

That reminds me, I got a job offer via monster.com the other day as a trainer for Iraq civilian security forces. Starting pay is between $100,000 to $200,000 a year (1 year tour) tax free with all meals and lodging provided. Man, that's tempting....[sm=smiley5.gif]

It probably is legit- those job offers are real- but let me tell you, I spend ALOT of time over there (285 days last year, already have 70 or so this year- I'm actually leaving again on Monday) and there's a reason they're paying so much- it's because no one wants the job- trust me- that place is the armpit of the earth, I don't care if it is the cradle of civilization. Last summer we regularly got 125-130 degree heat with 90-98% humidity- I had no concept of what hot was until I went there.
My advice to anyone considering that is pass- is it worth $200 grand to live in hell and then get kidnapped or killed? I'm puttin' in my time now, but you did yours already- besides, at least they give me a plane and a gun...

Good call. I couldn't do it just because of the headaches I get from the heat 90 degs. and up.[sm=smiley5.gif]

Yeah, I have yet to hear ONE good thing about Iraq, other than seeing it in your rear view mirror...[:'(]
