Some Changes coming...

Some Changes coming...
Just thought I'd share some of the changes I have planned for my car in the next few months.
This last weekend I installed the Mopar Stage 3R Coil-Overs with 450lb springs in the front and 350lb springs in the rear and the "helper" springs, which I believe take some of the harshness out of the ride (car still rides nice on the street).
I also picked up a set of "Skinny" drag wheels for the rear. They're the Bogart Fly-Stars. (Speaking of Bogart wheels, if anyone wants a set of Bogart wheels, let me know I have a contact at Bogart since they're local to me.) And the M&H 24x3.6" tires are on their way.
I'm hoping between the coil-overs and the skinnies to hit a 10 sec 1/4 mile this weekend. (Best time w/o the skinnies and coilovers is an 11.37)
Then next month, the car gets fitted with a 5pnt bar (w/ a removable swing out side bar) and Sparco Racing seats w/ 5pnt harnesses.
And here's the BIG change:
Hopefully the week after Christmas (if all the pieces come in on time) I'll be installing a fully built NRGY Race engine.
NRGY Race ported head
Crane Cams
Custom CP pistons
Crower Billet Steel Rods
MADI Crankshaft
Ceramic coated "everything"
W/ the new engine, I fully expect the car to be consistantly in the 10's... and then I'm going to add a 100shot DP Progressive Nitrous setup and see how deep into the 10's it'll go.

I don't think the swing out side bars are NHRA legal, but your car sound sick. you will be the first in the 10s. I think.

I likely won't be the first daily driven street SRT-4 in the 10's; that'll probably be my friend Chris's car... the NRGY built S3R car that ran an 11.114 Saturday night. But I hope to be a close 2nd.
