Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I am not precisely new to this forum yet I am... None the less I wanted to share some of my experience with the SRT4. My friend DominicanSRT owns a 2003 Stage1 srt, currently we have undergone a few other modifications to further enhance the performance of the car. We have designed a 3inch exhaust system for the car, from downpipe till the end of the car where the muffler is met. Has anyone ever heard a semi truck's exhaust note when the turbo spools? If so imagine that on the SRT4. Beautiful sound! Performance wise he spikes 1.5Bar(21.75psi) and holds a notch under that(19-20psi). Before that he would hold 15-17. Both of us have come to a conclusion that we can make this exhaust for the rest of the SRT community. We will have pictures up soon, its all 3inch mandrel bent from down pipe till the muffler. We came up with some ideas and created the exhaust thinking of the future.... Big turbo, different exhaust manifold.. etc.... So we sort of mimic'd Mopar's stock exhaust. instead of making the system a complete 1 pipe with all the curves and welds, make it into 3 sections... (Easier install, and easier upgrades). If anyone is interested in having one built for their car let me or DominicanSRT know. We are also welcome to new ideas if anyone has something they would like to weld or have place anywhere let us know. here to help ... BTW the exhaust was fairly cheap price wise! Material its awesome!!!!!!!..... A local performance shop quoted us 1500.00 for the same 3 incher we have with mandrel bends and a crappy honda can muffler. Also a local muffler shop quoted us for 3 inch crush bends 1200.... They're out to get your money .. We can do it and have it shipped for a fraction of the cost. All you would need to do is take off your exhaust...and replace with this one... ohh and toss the old one @ a mustang. :-D

If interested let me know... Pictures will be up soon.

Thanks..

also anyone have cams ??? we are curently ordering the crane cams "16" wanted to know if its really worth the 2 week backorder.

agree with andy on the pics and vids.

so by what i read your saying your exhaust raised his boost?

and from dp to tip exhaust is called a cat-back exhaust. it might help you being a builder of an exhaust to know proper terms...

lol we are not "super professionals" but our welds are pro... so excuse the lack of "proper terms"..... the exhaust did not help raise boost, we have a few other modifications done to the car to get it that high. The exhaust helped hold the boost. Normally he would spike and then hold a few less till the end of that gear. now what he spikes he holds 80%+ of it. I will try to get a video up asap... as far as pics we will take a few... orver all and some close ups so you can see the welds. My father was a master welder so i learned from him but im no where near his level. But exhuasts are cake! We're just trying to help the rest of everyone on here with srt's. It sucks to have to go pay so much money and who knows if what they did was any good. For example; my brother had a G20 took it to a "professional performance shop" and asked for 2.5inch mandrel bent from headers + "cat back exhaust"... they charged him an arm and a leg.. used his stock headers, and gave him 2.5inch crush bent pipe... btw he had exhaust leaks and we did not look or better said notice until the car was totaled and he started parting out the car that he noticed he got the big screw. So basically we are just here to help out.

I'm not sure Amanda or the moderators are going to let you advertise your product here on DF without first checking with them......just a FYI......

Yeah show us some pictures and stuffs!!!

My car had a 3" downpipe, mated to the stock flex joint, and 3" crush bent all the way back. My custom cat-back it was. Its chilling in my garage right now. I also had the rear section painted black, with the exception of the exhaust tips (which were 6" chrome slants) so that you wouldn't be able to see the exhaust under the car. I only paid $520 with labor (took them all damn day) to get it done.

$1200 for crush bend?? Eekage....thats no good.

16's are for a fully built motor and big turbo... Too agressive for anything else...
