motor mounts supposed to make noises in the engine???
had that problem last week it turned out that the bolt was loose for the upper mount or just not tight enough...check all your bolts to make sure there tight and make sure you use loctite on every bolt except the main bolt that fastens the upper mount to chassis...it has a keeper that holds a nut in place from underneath...i found out the hard way that if you use loctite on that bolt the keeper will give before the bolt loosens then you have a major problem...i had to remove the stock bolt, nut and keeper but now have no problems at all
i mean i know that they are polyurethane so does that mean when it is cold it could make a noise???? i know that if anything it must be the lower mount because when i put the e brake on and go forward alittle bit it doesnt make that noise. i also know i took my car to the dodge dealer ship to get fixed for another problem and they said they torqued a bolt that connects to the k-frame (what ever that is) because it was loose.

You need to adjust it out and preload the engine. I don't have a picture of the AGP one, but here is the AFX.

If you notice, the threads are made so you can adjust it to be longer or shorter. If you adjust it to be longer it puts pressure on the mount. This will reduce noise and vibration. The noise and vibration mainly comes from the a harmonic that get set up when the mount it exactly the right lenght. This allows it to "float" and causes the problem. Simply lengthen it to get it out of float, and the noise will go away or be deminished.
