WOW!!! And I thought the $4.50 per gallon here for the 100 octane unleaded was bad. I think I'll be stayin' state side.[sm=smiley2.gif]

yeah.. its close to $8.00 a gallon.
RR, its because in Germany the tax is 16.25%. Also, since the "wall" came down everything went sky-rocket... east germany is real poor.

I paid over $4.00 a gallon for "regular" on the German economy. The American miltary got coupon books every month for gas at the US price on base. If I remember right, it was like 200 liters for my Ford Fiesta (based on engine size)...about 50 gallons a month. Even with driving to over a hundred volksmarches in 3 years, I seldom ran out of coupons, thank God.[sm=smiley5.gif]

American liquor, coffee, tea and cigarettes were rationed as well.

The gas coupons are still based upon US PRICES. now, dont know if u knew, it ranges from 50-100 liters coupons. we can use them in the Esso station... and other station if on the autoban. and yes. the booze & cigs are still rationed... but, if you go at night to the 24hr shoppette... u dont need it. Samething goes for the gas, if you dont have coupons. just pay cash w/o your registration.
You should see all the racers & alcoholic at night!!!!
its like a convention..lol

I've checked around and haven't found any detailed instructions....several people on other forums were talking about it, but basically all they were doing was comparing the design of the Greddy to another brand. If I DO find anything, I'll give you a holler....[sm=smiley4.gif]

If you live in the "boonies" (and I don't know if you do or not), you can actually order unleaded racing gasoline via the internet....but it's gonna cost ya (shipping container deposit, etc)....[&:]

In kenosha, wisconsin you can get it at the clark station on sheridan, it's $3.20 a gallon. They say for race use only, but have been running it in my bikes for years. Or you can get a tank and call the local gas supplier. Wilkolem mobil used to provide up to ??110 octane for the local racers. But hey somebody should try running a tank or 87 octane, just to see if there is a huge drop in performance like everyone is claiming. It would be interesting to see what happens. But yeah, check around and most likely some gas station will have it. PEACE
