On the subject i would not run 87 octane gas. The car will perform like a R/T instead of a srt-4. Yes its that bad. I tried it when my car was new, i was like what the heck, ran it in the conquest with no big power loss. Think my 0-60 times went up three seconds, my wife actually ran off and almost left me in her Durango, from a standing start...stick with 91 plus.

I live in pa not really in the boonies but even in harrisburg the highest is 94 oct at sunoco thats the only stuff I've been putting in then I pay 9$ for NOS oct booster, the racing formula supp. boots it up 7pts so if its true 101 is the octane I've been running. Any input??
Unfortunately octane boosters don't work quite like that. If you look closely and read the bottle, it should say that it ONLY brings the octane level of the gas up that much when added to 86 or 87 octane regular. The gains with higher octane gas is less, usually 2-3 octane points. So your probably at around 96-97 octane overall at best.[sm=smiley23.gif]

Most boosters contain MMT and/or other metals that Dodge says not to use, sorry.[sm=smiley13.gif] Man, I'm just full of all kinds of good news tonight.[sm=smiley36.gif]

Just stick with what comes out of the pump. If you can find an additive that doesn't contain any of the listed items in the owners manual, then you can use it but keep in mind that you will not get it's full benefits unless you are using regular.

Roach, you make it to K-Town (Germany) often?? Had a few TDY's there myself. Nobody told me about the "ladies of the evening" along "40 Mark Strasse"...heck, I thought they were all waiting for a bus!!!!! By the time I figured out what they were, I was halfway back to Hahn Air Base!!![sm=smiley4.gif]

For sure! They even had their own hotel, where they lived. It was across the street from the VAQ, of all places!!! I used to watch them hang their clothes on the balconies to dry, man they had some wild outfits!!![sm=smiley36.gif]
