The Shell here in Texas (San Antonio) max's out at 93 octane, yeah, we're a bunch of wimpy Americans when it comes to gasoline....[sm=smiley36.gif]

Some oil companies websites have their gas prices listed online for each and every location.[sm=smiley20.gif]

Hey Jackass (boy I feel weird typing that)... haha

I have heard, and I can't remember if it was a professor from college or not... anyway, I have heard that those octane boosters aren't good for engines in the long run... I have no proof, and I can't remember now where I had heard that... just what I think I have heard... anyone else know better??

Look in the phone book for gas distributers, or something like that, then call them and see if they carry and/or deliver 100 octane, some do, espesially if there is a race track/drag strip near, or you may be able to get it there. In K-town it's $3.20 a gallon. Not bad for a track day. Usually one distributer will distribute gas to quite a few gas stations and they only add there cup or two of additives. A freind of my dads drives for Wilkolm mobile, a gas distributer, and he delivers to more than mobile stations. Good Luck finding the good stuff. If anybody is interested I can ask him some questions, and get some answers from him. Not really familiar with the gas scene, but I do hear a little.

Sorry, that's K-town, Wisconsin...but I will be in France next month....Any suggestions? Like the cooool places to go, where to get a haircut, where to finds the women......sorry, I need to get some sleep.

They're probably referring to MMT which can be used to raise the octane levels. The SRT-4 owner's manual talks about it and recommends AGAINST using it.....[sm=smiley24.gif]

Roach, you make it to K-Town (Germany) often?? Had a few TDY's there myself. Nobody told me about the "ladies of the evening" along "40 Mark Strasse"...heck, I thought they were all waiting for a bus!!!!! By the time I figured out what they were, I was halfway back to Hahn Air Base!!![sm=smiley4.gif]
