Default OCC Question

I have a perrin cai. I am going to install a perrin occ, i know i run one line from the crank case to the occ but where do I run the other line to? I think it is suppose to run back to the intake but my cai doesnt have anywhere to hook it up at, it doesn't even have a place to put the air temperature sensor. What should I do? Thanks

As far as the occ line I followed the stock line that ran from the pcv valve to the intake manifold.

Just tuck the air temperature sensor somewhere near the filter so it can get an approx. reading. You could drill a hold in your new intake an mount it but I doubt you want to do that.

Maybe this will help a little........(note the lack of hose clamps, I put them on after taking the photo!)

Run one line from the PCV valve to the OCC. The other line goes from the OCC to the throttle body intake...(see photo above). Your OCC will sit in the "middle" and simply collect the oil mist in the vapors by gravity.....

Hmmmm, air will be coming out of your PCV valve, going thru the tubing to your OCC, then going thru the tubing to your throttle body intake...that's a pretty simple design. Have you checked for an obstruction maybe in the OCC? You should be able to blow air (breath) thru the tubing and OCC with little or no problem. Another problem could be a clogged PCV valve. Is your tubing the same size (diameter) as the original? Also, some tubing material won't stand up to the pressure of a SRT-4 OCC. I haven't had any problem with the reinforced tubing in mine.
