PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!! EBC MALFUNCTION!!!!
I installed my Greddy Profec B spec II this weekend and now my car won't boost past 5 psi! I used the forum instructions step by step to hook it up. Shouldn't my car still boost what it was boosting before with it turned off? Lilsparkplug, don't you have a Greddy with a stg 2 WGA? If you or anyone else who has this setup could buzz in it would be greatly appreciated. I hooked my vac lines in the following...... Greddy >>>> T into boost guage. NO >>>> T into Green turbo hard line. COM >>>> Stg 2 WGA (hooked up just like stock). Capped stock WGA line. Also capped CAI and ran a catch can while I was at it. Oil had gotten to the turbo so I had to fix it. My car is in such bad shape I'm not even going to drive it until this next weekend when I get a chance to work on it. If anyone knows anything about my problem, PLEASE, I want to drive my baby! On a good note, the apexi turbo timer went on without a hitch and works great!

Yes I do have the EBC w/the S2WGA, it sounds like something isnt hooked up right to me. Or something just isnt tight enough.
Okay I put all of my settings on my EBC to 0, and its only pushing 5-6 maybe 7 lbs of boost. Thats what the wastegate is currently pre-loaded at, what Im doing, and what you should do also, is get the wastegate to 0 pre-load meaning it doesnt boost anything at all, then allow the EBC to control your boost.

What are you using as a boost source to the unit? The boost guage line?

EBC = electronic boost controller
SRI = short ram intake
WOT = wide open throttle
CAI = cold air intake
PCM = powertrain control module
OBD = On-board diagnostics
STS = short throw shifter
FMIC = front mount intercooler
SEE = side exit exhaust
MBC = manual boost controller
yeah theres more too...

I'm sure there is, but you added WOT, ODB (formerly known as 'Old Dirty Bastard'... in contrast to popular belief [and what I'm sure you're all thinking] not me.... well maybe not me LOL!), SEE, and MBC.
Not that I'm not a fan of getting more than I asked for, ... just thought I needed to point that out.
{What a Pr**k}
