What up Nick, sorry to hear about the ticket bro. Not to scare you, but let me tell you about an experiece I had with a 109 mph ticket.

I was on my way back from magic mountain, I was driving my friends, Nissan Sentra SER Vspec, just cruisin at about 80, I hit a downhill and the car gradually started picking up speed, I wasn't paying attention cus I was knocking out a bit, before I know it I was going 115, so I slowed down and hit about 105-106 when I see motha effin cop lights behind me, I pull over and got real worried, by buddies were all knocked out my eyes were bloodshot cus I was hella sleepy *sorry kids, I dont do drugs*. The cop comes over asks me if there was some kind of emergency and I told him to be honest office, I just want to go home. He said "You will, just let me get your signature." I thought I was ok, he didn't impound the car, didn't seem like a dick or nothing, about 1 month later I go to court and find out i have a fine of $1,625.67 and I had to pay it in 3 months. I asked for a monthly payment plan and they allowed it so I finished paying the **** and just got the 2 points off my license last month, keep in mind I got this ticket 1 month after getting my license in 2003. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen to you and I hope your fine is way less then mine, but I gaurantee you have a wreckless driving notice on you license oh yeah, your insurance will go up.

Anything over 25 over is considered wreckless, automatic 6 point, at least in COLO and CALI

they must be real easy here in missouri cause i got caught racing a mustang and got clocked doing 145 in a 45 cop was pretty cool state trooper didnt do anything but give me a c&i which is 4 points here i believe and 133 fine i got luck on that one but i talked to my buddy who is a deputy sheriff and he said in this area 30+ isnt that much trouble unless you do it repeatedly once i passed through texas and got a ticket 99 in the 70 they just issued me a ticket to send in through the mail 250
when i was 16 i got 2 tickets same day same cop one doing 22 over the other 27 over got 1 year sis probation and 16hours community service either i get lucky or they arent that strict in my area (i live outside the city st. louis i believe they are alot more strict there but not sure)

 

just asking izzy were you under 18. you said it was a month after getting your license, but just thought i would ask. i dont want to lose my license untill im 18 cause that would suck. [:@]

 

you got lucky. i think in cali if we got caught speeding like what you did, it would be involuntary manslaughter or something like that.

 

Involuntary manslaughter... heck..... try 1st degree murder or 3rd or all of the motha effin degrees. When I got my ticket, the cop told me, you know, at the speed you were going you are considered a lethal weapon. Freakin Cali cops....

holy **** man... That's almost as much as DUIs in CA, there's a few other things involved with those, but damn hefty fine. I got 2 points for "exhibition of speed", knocked down from speed contest. And that was around $400.

 

I live in CA... It's only 2 points... DUI is "only" 2 points aswell. Everything is either 1 or 2 points, of course you could get more for one incident if you have multiple violations.

I have not gotten a speeding ticket in 6 years in Arizona. I do have an assload of written warnings and have been pulled over a few times drifting on some winding roads. I have been extremely lucky!
