Default 103mph ticket

i was just wondering if anyone had any experience with tickets over 100mph. if i will lose my licence or what. i am 17 and have had my licence for about a year and a half. also is there any way to challenge the ticket cause my speedo said like 98 or 99 and the cop was on the other side of the road and flipped a U turn. God i hate Blythe (that is where i got my ticket).

Cali laws change so often I can't begin to offer legal advice. However, considering your age, your speed, and the fact that the officer probably got you on "instant on" radar makes your chances of beating the ticket pretty slim unless you have a GOOD reason for going that fast like a pregnant wife in the car in labor or some other medical emergency.....(pee breaks normally don't count)

Your lucky your car didnt get impounded and you didnt get arrested.

Pay the ticket, deal with the consequences because if you go to court you'd be the laughingstock. Unless you have to go to court then I cant give you any advice.

And for your safety and the safety of everyone else...SLOW DOWN!

i have an excuse that is far better than a pregnant wife. so i was driving out to the river with some friends going 75 on a 70mph freeway then my friend yells "****, **** ****" and i look over and in the car next to me the ckic has her top off flashing us. so i was going to stay with them but i had to get off and get gas cause i was running the last 30 miles with my gas light on. so i get gas and get back on the freeway and was doing like 130 to try and catch up and as soon as i slow down to like 98 or 99 i see a cop flip a fat bitch and throw his lights on. i was going to tell the cop this story but he seemed kind of like a dick so i just took the ticket and left. i spun the tires on the way back on to the freeway just to top it off. i wonder if this story will work in court? sorry if this story has affended anyone with language or content.

around here in pa, at least last i saw, they take your lisence on the spot, impound your car and you have to do a bunch or crap just to get it back, and then after that, well good luck with insurance and what not

Basically, you're looking at a two point ticket and probably around $400 fine. Along with insurance increase. The extra digit is the killer
