103mph ticket
My last speeding ticket was in 1990 in the speed trap capital of the world, Selma, Texas. I passed an 18 wheeler doing 89 in a 65. I was in the Air Force at the time and took the Traffic Safety course on base for free and paid a $20 administration fee to the city of Selma to clear the ticket since I had no other moving violations in the past 10 years (they didn't check my driving record in Germany). To make a long story short, my insurance went down $50 dollars a year due to the Traffic Safety course and I paid out $20 to get the ticket erased.......1 Speeding Ticket........net gain, $30!!!!!!!

Ok ok i took it a lil far but you get my point.
Ouch, that hurts. You may end up paying the fine, but go to court. Be respectful and honest. Sometimes you can at least get the fine reduced. I am an ex-truck driver, and have had my share of tickets in a commercial and private vehicles. Cali is a bitch when it comes to moving violations but a hell of alot of fun otherwise.
A trick that allways worked for me is as follows:
When the judge passes your punishment (fine), go to the clerk and tell them that you don't have any money with you. work out payment(s). When you pay the fine, or make the final payment in your payment plan, overpay the fine by 5 dollars.
The clerks office will send you a check back for the overpayment. DO NOT CASH IT, BURN IT, EAT IT, THEN CRAP IT OUT IN THE WOODS. You get the idea. The reason for this is that the case cannot be reported to the state until you have been proven guilty. You cannot be proven guilty until the case is closed. This means all fines paid and zero'ed. The case cannot be closed and reported until it is zero'ed and the account is balanced. The case is never closed until the overpayment check comes back cashed/cancelled. The case never officially closes, your fine is paid in full, the state never reports the points, your insurance company never knows the difference.
This has worked for me many times in a few different states, and believe me a big truck speeding ticket ain't cheap in any state. Yes you will be out the fine, but is five extra dollars worth not paying 500 extra dollars a year in insurance? It has kept me a clean MVR for the past 20 years.

I have yet to get a ticket in the SRT-4. Idaho is pretty wide open. Every time I see a cop here they are pulling someone over. When I was in SoCal (Orange County and L.A.), I covered 500 to 1200 miles a week in the SRT for work and never got pulled over. You can usually get away with 10 to 15 over the limit. I know I cruised at 80 on the freeways (barring the ridiculous traffic) and barely let up for CHP. Out here in the boonies, the only things that are gonna see me hauling a$$ are cows, horses or sheep!
My closest call with this car in Cal was right before I moved about 8 months ago: Friday afternoon, horrid traffic from work in Newport Beach to home in Fullerton on the 55 freeway (parking lot). Out of nowhere the freeway opens up, I punch it, away I go! 60, 70, 85.. at 95 mph, i'm pretty far from the pack and I see the black and white highway patrol bobbing and weaving thru the crush of traffic. I slow down to 65, he was on me in seconds. Lights come on, I signal to pull over- he pulls up next to me and screams "slow down" thru his p.a. on the cruiser. If you've ever heard those things, they are loud, let alone someone literally screaming thru one. I nodded my head at him in disbelief and he sped away. Perhaps the luckiest I have been in a car since I tried to out run a cop on a bike in an 87 Toyota Tercel and he gave me a ticket for 45 in a 35. I think he thought I was funny for even trying to ditch him!

I live in CA... It's only 2 points... DUI is "only" 2 points aswell. Everything is either 1 or 2 points, of course you could get more for one incident if you have multiple violations.

NO WAY BUDDY!!
Anything over 25 over is considered wreckless, automatic 6 point, at least in COLO and CALI
If thats all it is where you come from Andy, I'm movin there

Basically, you're looking at a two point ticket and probably around $400 fine. Along with insurance increase. The extra digit is the killer

I know, I figured that one after I posted it. Thank god I will start off with a clean license in Cali!! Woo hoo, I just can't come back to CO anytime in Boulder, to many unpaid parking tickets!!
Here in OH, anything 20+ MPH over the speed limit is wreckless operation and will cost you big as well as arrest, car impounded and your license gets taken. I guess this is one of the reasons why at the beginning of the race in The Cannonball Run the guy starting the race says, "Think of the fact that there is not one state in the 50, that has the death penalty for speeding.....although I'm not so sure about Ohio."
Your best bet is simply to beg for mercy and hope you get away with just a fine, as you can see here, it can be far worse.

Since you already have a court date, I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIRING AN ATTORNEY!!! This may at least allow you to keep your license. It may cost up front but If you can get everything reduced, then it may save money in the long run on fines, and also your insurance.
My personal advice is to SLOW DOWN, although you may not be driving at all for a while. I cant say I have never gone 150+ but if you do choose to do triples, know where your doing it, where cops are less likely to be and most of all where is safest to do it.
My last ticket was for 18 over i believe. I just sucked it up and paid the fine, since my record is clean i wasnt too worried about insurance premium increase, as they forgive 2 screwups.
In closing, be prepared to open your wallet and watch your checkbook bleed. In PA, anything 30mph over is auto loss of license, In MO, i think its 25 over is mandatory court appearance
EDIT: In case you didnt catch it above... HIRE AN ATTORNEY
