first of all izzy if i ever saw you driving an AE86 i would run you off the road.
i would get a 240sx. make sure it is a 1995-1998 with the KA24DE engine. then turbo it and you would have a sick drift car. you should read the sport compact car mags article on their "budget" 240sx build up.

Tough to settle after rocking that little beast for 2 years - I really loved it - but might not be able to afford a new one after everything i put into it.
I drove a rsx type s this afternoon - and I was expecting to be happy with it, but the thing was absolutely anemic. NO torque - guess I found a liking for torque with the SRT.
Was looking at a 5 speed 2001 Maxima SE today - pretty cheap for a 33000 mile car at 11000 - coule be the next project - always wanted to hook up one of those for some reason - I wonder what can be done with that 227hp v-6 could have some potential I bet.
Also looked at a Celica GT-S like the one I had in 2000 - fun car - but again no torque. The yamaha engine is a good one though and I like them a lot. THat 8400 rpm redline and the 60 hp surge at lobe engagement is a blast.
One thing I am thinking is why not get something cheaper and work it and have no payments for a change. Maybe a 240sx fastback. Maybe a MR2 turbo(always wanted one - but afraid of rain performance). Maybe even a 944 turbo like the one i used to drive a long time ago.(saw a half decent one for 5k)
This is a really hard decision - any thoughts on a torquey car that is reliable and fast and - oh yeah cheap(like below 12,000)?
Or Heck - it is even possible that i might buy a second hand srt-4 and put all the old upgrades on it and stay where i was b4 this happened, since I can't think of a better car for the money still.
You might be able to find a Mazda RX-7? Those are really nice.ORIGINAL: posthondaremoval

Not sure yet - trying to figure it out - I am a little $ shy right now - so I may actually get a used car of some sort. ORIGINAL: wordslayer

Record Breaker
i hope not i would love to hear it was inproper maintinence because i have the feeling it was.
I too think its odd that Adam hasn't posted anything in nearly a month. He was a regular fixture on this forum and he said that he wasn't seriously hurt in the accident. With regard to the cause of the accident, and as much as I hate to believe it, i also think that it was improper maintenance. [&o][&o]
