Not a problem.[sm=smiley2.gif] Another part that also creates backpressure is the catalytic converter.

Thanks dusty, and I'm glad to see that you made it back.[sm=smiley20.gif] Did you get your FSTB from Modern, and if so, did your come with or without the instruction? Mine came without just like my Mopar Performance STS. No biggie since I already know how to do them both, but the strut nuts are supose to be tightened to a specific torque, so I just went by feel for now. The STB takes all of 5-10 minutes to install, adjusting it to fit and all. Can't wait to hear about your Stage 1 when you get it, especially since you will have larger gains from it than what it says since you already have a few good mods on it that it will make even better use of.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

ORIGINAL: Bildo

How is Rezin8 at 357 HP with the stage 2 and stock turbo and exhaust? There has to be something else right? Or Stage 3 with the better turbo and bigger fuel pump would be knocking on the door of 400 HP wouldn't it? What am I missing?
Don't forget how accurate Dodges' horsepower ratings are on their cars and upgrades. You can pretty much bet that the gains they list are actually below the results at the wheels and when added to other aftermarket mods your looking pretty good.

Nope, no instructions in mine either, just the STB wrapped in plastic. I think I asked you already about the torque on the STB nuts...I'll see if my "handy-dandy" SRT-4 service manual has any info on the torque specs...

I'm pacing the floor waiting on the Stage 1....Modern Performance charged my Master Card for it already according to the bill I got, so it's a matter of waiting on the "flashing" and the shipping.....guess I'll go listen to the BOV to help pass the time....[sm=smiley36.gif]

I swung by the Dodge dealer in Great Falls while I was up there....they said they had sold about 6 or 7 SRT-4's for this model year. Considering the population of the town, that's one SRT-4 for about every 10,000 people there.....virtually everybody there owns at least one truck or SUV due to the weather and the terrian.

Well, at least now I don't feel so bad that mine didn't have any instructions, but my Mopar STS should have had one though. For the torque specs. on the STB, I just used the feel of it. I made sure of the ratchets position when I started to loosen a nut, then I turned it loose about half a turn and then tightened it back to the starting position to get a feel for how tight to tighten them.[sm=smiley2.gif]

No more waiting, I got my Mopar/Borla exhaust at around 5PM on saturday. I haven't gotten it on yet because I had plans for saturday and didn't have enough time to swap out the exhaust before hand. Hopefully I will swap it out today, but there is a car show later that I would like to go to and I would love to roll in in the SRT-4 with my new exhaust rumbling.

Thanks for the info on the tightening technique...gonna put the STB on first, before the Stage 1, going from "easy" to "kinda easy".....[sm=smiley36.gif]

Both are quite easy, naturally the STB is the easier of the two. If it could stop raining for a minute or two and I could find my other jack stand, then I could put this frickin' exhaust on already. I hate having to wait to do something like this.[:@]

Pretty big box it came in, huh??[sm=smiley36.gif] What are you going to do with your old exhaust? I was going to sell mine, but it costs a small fortune to pack/ship...[&:]
