My shift **** doesn't seem to have any casting line/marks. I have never had a problem with the **** coming off, before the STS or after.

 

ditto for me on the loose know thing, before or after the mopar sts, with both my 03 and 04.

 

I even made sure that I checked mine out yesterday and I pulled up on it pretty hard, almost as much as when I took it off to put in the STS, and it was tight as ever.

 

I finally got my bushing today. I thought I had ordered them with the STS but I guess I forgot or they didn't hear me on the phone. No big deal though. I see where they go on the STS I think, but how hard is it to put on the transmission? Any help is appreciated. Pics would be great. Thanks.
