Stuff to add first
LOL as am I, but if your talking about what to add first, I definitely wouldn't consider that one of the FIRST things to go on a car as far as modifications go. I fix my airflow then I go for the gold.
My first mod, besides the MSD wires, was my Mopar BOV. I just had to have that sound right away, but the low price helped in my decision to get it right off the bat. After that it was all performance oriented mods.
Yeah I'm going for some MSD wires and the STS next more than likely. And with the new rims that he'll have on him I'm definitely gonna need to drop the car. Stock height is 4x4'n anyways
Ok so the first thing to do is CAI? Is that something i can do? Or should i just take it to have it done? Also is there a Mopar one or what do you think is the best one Sexy? I really don't want to ruin the car or the warranty.
Having an intake in your car, its REALLY really hard to ruin your warranty with one of those. They can only void your warranty if the part installed caused a problem. And its rare that that happens with an intake, though if installed wrong due to the positioning of the battery it will GROUND the positive terminal on your battery and cause a fire. I'll post a picture of an engine bay to which that happened.
Any intake works well really. Alot of people swear by plastic saying it doesn't heat up the way metal does (i.e. Iceman Intake, or PSI-Fi's intake). Then theres those who love the sound the metal intakes produce, (i.e. K&N, AEM, Perrin). Its all personal preference really. Theres differences between them, but the differences are limited. I'd check each individual supplier's website and compare their gains. Then ask who has which one. I'm getting the AEM Short ram for now, because its winter time here. I'll get a full Plastic Iceman CAI when the warmer weather comes back, the last thing I want is a flooded engine.
