I was going to wait for S2 w/ Toys to become more available and just go with that, but I figured for the $300+ it was the best mod to go with in the interim. Along with the MP/Borla exaust it should really wake it up. It would also be very easy to remove/install should I need to bring my car in for service.
I'm still watching and waiting before I decide on a CAI.

Thats cool too gettin an S1. for the 300+ left over, get a CAI w/Bov!! Then work on exhaust. You wont be disapointed. But, its all up to you

 

I got the short ram and am now kinda wishing I got the cai instead. I'm not sure how much of a difference in temp it is but probably better for the car. I think I am going with s1 also. i have read way too many storied about stage 2. Might as well wait for s3.

 

What stories about the Stage 2? fill me in cause i have one[&:]

 

They may be referring to the posts on other sites about losing boost due to leaks in the intake system. That's the only problem I've heard of so far.....[&:]

 

boost leaks, mismatched connectors, smoke, loss of power, the power/problems are not worth it to me right now. Maybe someday just not today.

I guess i have some luck installing my mods (knock on wood). I havent any problem (major) SO FAR

 

Except for the mismatched connectors (one case I've heard of), most of the problems stem from people putting mods on a car that already has a problem, like leaks in the intake system. Mods aren't a cure for a problem, they usually make the problem worse...[sm=smiley24.gif]
