Default NGK Plugs

Anyone running an iridium ngk plug ? ... if so which one ? ... all I could find was a NGK Iridium 2314... looking for an iridium so I don't have to deal with the 4306's replacement issues.

Burnout, I just bought the stock heat range NGK Iridiums from modern Performance. They should be here today.

NGK Iridium Spark Plugs Stock heat range (LZTR5AIX-13) and colder (LZTR6AIX-13) available

$29.99 set of 4

Actually, he gave you the part number. You are asking about the "stock number"... but...

Some people are closing the gaps on these plugs (from the 1.3mm gap down to about 1.0mm).

In stock trim the stock heat range (LZTR5AIX-13) is fine with no gap mod's typically.

Burnout,

turns out the part number translates to a 2314. I'll let you know how it goes. Is there a reason you're avoiding the 2314's ? People having problems with them ?

These car's don't like the iridiums. Go with the Denso ITL's or the NGK 4306's

I put the NGK #4306's in and gapped then to .045. And after I fixed my stumbling problem with a new set of wires. I think you should do what LPS say's. She knows her ****! Thanks again LPS

The NGK's work great as do the Iridiums- it's all about preference. (sp?)

I'd have to disagree some here... but... to each their own. My car runs great with heat range 6 (thats "colder") iridiums.

typically Iridiums have better ignitability, extended life, and require lower sparking energy to fire than a standard nickel plug
